WHO WE ARE

In July 2011, a group of like-minded people formed a social network called the "Ukrainian Evaluation Association" (UEA). This evolved into establishing a non-governmental organization, having the same name, which subsequently received official Ukrainian registration. The purpose of UEA is to promote the evaluation in Ukraine in order to improve performance of the public, public and private sectors. Currently, UEA is a platform for on-going exchange of experience and exchange of information on monitoring and evaluation of policies, strategies, programs and projects.

Since formation of the organization, members of the UEA have joined the work of other non-governmental organizations and government authorities to implement effective management tools. Members of UEA are also working with other professional communities and international organizations. Members of UEA are not only evaluation specialists, but also teachers and students of the training course "Monitoring and evaluation of social projects".

WHAT WE DO

Members of UEA are involved in various research activities related to the monitoring and evaluation of policies, strategies, programs and projects, the creation of teaching and information materials, training, information and professional activities.

UEA includes specialists who are involved in the creation of training programs and, advising on the training of future evaluation specialists. Members of UEA provide expert support to authorities and local governments in monitoring and evaluating state and municipal strategies and programs.

Among the achievements of the Ukraine Evaluation Association is a glossary of terminology related to monitoring and evaluation, professional standards and codes that help to introduce monitoring and evaluation in the activities of both non-governmental organizations, central and local governments.
